Olivia Parr is just your average 19-year-old, working at a neighborhood pool for the summer. Well, your average 19-year-old who can speak to, and shift into the world of the dead. Her life quickly becomes even more complicated when Charlie, her childhood best friend also happens to be working there, after disappearing without so much as a goodbye ten years prior. Olivia and Charlie quickly begin to realize that their relationship triggers something strange: Olivia suddenly begins to shift them through time. Uncertain of how to stop her from constantly shifting, the two must try and get home from exotic locations unscathed, as well as rediscover their friendship in the process. Olivia must also learn to control her gifts to save Charlie when he falls victim to a grave accident.
There’s also an exciting element of Greek Mythology, but that’s part of the twist so you’ll have to read it to find out!
